We are excited to announce that we have entered into a collaborative relationship with METIS, a Mergers and Acquisitions advisory firm, broadening the scope of services we offer to Saratoga clients. METIS focuses exclusively on the wine and hospitality industries, advising investors and business owners on capital transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and recapitalizations since 1991. This collaboration gives Saratoga clients and investors unprecedented access to confidential investment opportunities in the wine and hospitality space, and a resource to evaluate and execute business acquisitions and divestitures.
Our main point of contact at METIS will be Chris Garratt. Chris is a licensed realtor in Washington State and leads METIS’ hospitality practice, helping hotel and restaurant owners, developers, and investors. Chris is a recovering hotelier, having held leadership positions at MGM Resorts in Las Vegas, the Sheraton Seattle, Visit Seattle, and RL Hotels. Chris also has extensive legal and finance experience, working as an accountant for the Boeing company, running a regional law firm, and holding executive regional leadership roles at Providence, one of the largest non-profit healthcare organizations in the country. Chris received his undergraduate degree from Whitman College and his MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. Chris and his wife live in Walla Walla, WA and spend much of their free time driving their three kids to various sporting and theatre events around the northwest.
